The life safety division started decades ago with a couple of Amteck guys doing fire alarm inspections. Today, Life Safety has grown to include dozens of team members across several office locations.
Far from simply performing inspections, the Life Safety team performs fire alarm and suppression system designs and installations, mass notification, monitoring contracts, distributed antenna systems (DAS), and fire extinguisher training.

Kentucky's Life Safety Code May Require an In-Building RF Survey
In-building safety surveys involve testing the strength of public safety radio frequencies throughout a building. Our specialists will walk through your facility with a floor plan and utilize RF capturing tools to measure signal quality. A digital report is then created, allowing you to know if your life safety systems are in compliance and–if not–where you need to focus your attention.
